2:51 EST – And that’s it people. Thanks for reading!
2:43 EST – Prices! iPhone 4G 16GB = $199. iPhone 4G 32 GB = $299.
2:30 EST – Steve’s closing up on the presentation. But before that, he went on ahead and booted up a video chat with Jony Ive on the iPhone 4.
2:19 EST – Steve’s up to iAds. Seems to work much like Google’s AdSense, but geared to allow App Store developers to earn money. To “continue to create free and low-cost apps,” according to the slide.
2:07 EST – iPhone OS 4.0 has … wait for it… yeah, MULTITASKING!
2:06 EST – Steve just asked everyone to put all their laptops down. It seems that the sheer number of notebooks connecting over WiFi was too much for the venue to handle. No wonder the iPhone demo a little while earlier crashed.
2:02 EST – Crap. The iMovie app is now on the iPhone. Movie editing right on the iPhone. Now only if the screen was a little bigger…
1:58 EST – Pretty impressive camera right here. The iPhone boasts not just a competitive camera, but a video camera capable of recording HD video. 720p at 30fps recording capability isn’t something to be frowned upon.
1:54 EST – The iPhone has a much improved accelerometer + gyro system, which means that it’s capable of detecting much more movement from its user (not just tilts!). Sounds more like a WiiMote. Huh.
1:44 EST – Woops, the iPhone suddenly froze while trying to load up a webpage. “Somebody’s going down for this network glitch,” warned Steve. Hahahahaha!
1:39 EST – Impressive screen resolution on iPhone 4 right here. Normal LCD displays generally have 72 pixels per inch… the iPhone 4 has 324 pixels per inch.
1:32 EST – Here we go boys. The iPhone 4. The THINNEST smartphone on the planet. 24% thinner than the iPhone 3GS. Another image from Engadget:

1:31 EST – Smartphone market in the US. RIM (those punkin’ Blackberries!) have 35% of the market, with iPhones garnering 28%. “Hard to imagine the smartphone market before the iPhone,” says Steve.
1:28 EST – A sweet $1 billion paid to developers. Right smack in the middle of the screen.
1:27 EST – Stevey boy is back on stage.
1:25 EST – OOH, Activision! Guitar Hero? Rock Band, anyone?
1:21 EST – Wouldn’t you know, FarmVille for the iPhone. Haha, push notifications for withering crops? Bwaahaha. Here’s a pic from Engadget:

1:17 EST – NetFlix on the App Store. Along with what seems to be a deal with Zynga.
1:13 EST – The iPad will also have support for HTML5. Probably Apple’s idea of an “uncontrolled” environment (as compared to the Apple iTunes Store). Steve Jobs also mentions that 95% of apps are approved in seven days. I wonder if that figure includes those apps which aren’t approved. Huh.
1:12 EST – So the iPad will have native PDF support coming up. Wouldn’t that have been so much more useful bundled with the iPad as soon as it was launched?
1:09 EST – Steve is showcasing The Elements. Seems like he’s pretty proud of how that particular app is shaping up.
1:07 EST – Pretty impressive. One iPad sold every three seconds. A big hulking “2 MILLION” right smack on the screen.
1:00 EST – Here we go guys. Steve Jobs just took the stage.
Not just for Apple fans – Every gadget aficionado, tech savant or electronic nerd will be setting their eyes on only one event this afternoon: the 2010 WWDC live, where Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be delivering a keynote speech on, uhurm, probably the iPhone 4G.
