A student mapped much of Kazakhstan online, after finding out his homeland wasn’t virtually available on Google Maps.
Twenty-three year old Kyril Negoda, a graphic student from the University of Minnesota, said he spent an estimated 500 hours on the project.
Negoda used Google Map Maker to “provide the rest of the web with his intimate knowledge of the country, adding streets, villages, and important landmarks along the way.”
