Marion “Suge” Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records, was arrested Thursday after allegedly pointing a gun at an unidentified man.
45-year-old Knight reportedly drove off in his Cadillac after the assault and was apprehended by the California Highway Patrol in Gardena at around 12:30 in the morning. He was immediately handed to the Los Angeles police.
Officer April Harding said, “He was cooperative.”
The authorities received a call from someone that said Knight had pointed a gun at him. Harding said Knight’s bail was set at $65,000.
Just last year, Knight pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery.
Knight was the cofounder of Death Row Records, which helped the likes of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and the late Tupac Shakur rise to stardom.
