Natalie White, the winner of the recent Survivor Samoa reality television series, has reportedly declined an offer by fellow game player Russell to sell her title of “sole survivor” to him.
Natalie, a 26-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Arkansas, is the recent winner of Survivor’s $1 million cash prize, taking it straight from under the nose of Russell, arguably one of the biggest game players ever.
Russell has been quoted as saying at the first immunity challenge, “Who better to take to the final two than her? There’s no way she can beat me in votes.” He has also been quoted to have referred to the other players as “his puppets” and that when he’s finished with them, he’ll just “throw them in the trash.”
Russell also said before the final tribal council that “If Mick or Natalie won this game over me, that would just be a shame. It wouldn’t make any sense to me. I’ve played this game strategically better than anybody, maybe in history.”
However, judges have cast more votes for Natalie to win than Russell, as irony would have it.
Russell then offered Natalie $10,000 for the title of “sole survivor”, which Natalie declined, even after Russell upped his ante to $100,000.
