Jacob Nodarse, the primary suspect behind the triple homicide case in Darien, Illinois, was taken into custody Wednesday.
Reports say the police found 23-year-old Nodarse asleep at around 4 in the afternoon, inside a van parked outside his parents’ house near Fort Myers.
On March 2, three people were shot to death inside their home in Darien, and the authorities believe that whoever committed the crime may have entered the house through one of the windows.
Darien Police Chief Robert Pavelchik said, “It’s clear to me that someone who knew the family may have been involved with this.”
The names of the dead victims are Jeff Kramer, his wife Lori, and one of their sons Michael. Their other son Anthony was able to escape through a basement window, and their daughter Angela hid inside a closet and called 911. An unidentified 17-year-old girl was also able to get away.
