Talk show host and entertainer Ellen DeGeneres will be sitting alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in American Idol’s ninth season, according to a Fox spokesperson.
R&B star and icon Mary J. Blige is slated to attend the American Idol auditions in Atlanta as a guest judge, filling in for former Idol judge Paula Abdul, according to reports from Access Hollywood and People. Auditions are scheduled this Sunday and Monday.
