Award-winning singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner have reportedly split up after three months of dating, according to a scoop by Us Magazine.

A source close to Swift confirmed the break-up, saying that the pair simply had “no chemistry” together.

“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” says the source.

The pair had been lauded as a romantic couple ever since Swift hugged Lautner during one of her concerts back in October, after which the couple had been seen together on numerous occasions.

The two allegedly plan to stay as friends, however. They might get together again to promote Valentine’s Day which is due out February 12 next year.
