Tiger Woods to hold press conference on Friday

The very controversial Tiger Woods will finally break his three-month silence as he is set to appear at a press conference held by the PGA on Friday.

The golf legend, whose name has been connected to an infidelity scandal involving multiple women, will issue a statement in person, in the presence of some of his friends and colleagues.

But, according to CNBC’s Darren Rovell, “there will be no question and answer session.”

Mark Steinberg, Tiger’s agent, said, the disgraced golfer will “apologize via prepared remarks for his behavior, while discussing his golf return and future plans.”

There’s no word on whether Tiger’s wife Elin will be there.

The event will be held at the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and will start at 11 a.m (Eastern).
