Times Change Spring 2010 – When does the time change in 2010? Don’t forget to set your clocks one hour forward today!
Sunday marks the day when clocks should be set forward one hour forward in observance of Daylight Savings Time for 2010. That means that in territories where DST is observed, one precious hour will figuratively be lost. And of course, this only applies to territories that observe DST.
If you are having problems with remembering when DST is observed, and when clocks are set forwards or backwards, a nifty little saying helps in keeping this to memory: Spring forward, Fall back. In summary, clocks are set forward in spring, and set backwards in the fall.
Most electronic appliances that keep the time (like personal computers, laptops, iPods, etc) are able to automatically adjust for DST provided that they have been set up correctly. Do perform a double check to ensure that all your time-keeping gadgets are synced correctly.
