News about the recently announced Playtation 3 Slim (PS3 slim) have been gracing the airwaves and netwaves for the past few days, but, albeit to a much smaller scale, Sony has also released some updates regarding their still-in-development motion-sensing controller.

The new controller is something of Sony’s answer to the massive audience acceptance garnered by the Nintendo Wii, when the console shipped with a controller that was unlike any others during its time. It still does not have a final name, nor a concrete date of release, but so far, the skinny on it is pretty much positive.

It hasn’t been shown to be being used with any major games yet though (only minigame demos so far), but we’re pretty hopeful about it.
