As one of the most anticipated matches on this year’s Winter Olympics, it is equally fitting to hold the Men’s Hockey championship match between USA and Canada on the closing day of the Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.
Expected to be one of the hottest matches of the year, the match between USA and Canada will start at approximately 3:15 pm EST. Team USA is coming into this match undefeated and having just polished off Finland with a large 6-1 win margin, while Canada is proud to be touting hockey fame as well, having been defeated only by Team USA. Canada managed to beat Slovakia during the semi-finals 3-2.
Team USA is highly pumped, and is hoping that goalie Ryan Miller will be able to continue his stellar performance in the gold medal event, having blocked 98 of the 103 shots taken at him this Olympic season. Team Canada may still be recovering their momentum in the game, but they sure are not out just yet.
