Winter Olympics 2010: US leads medal count at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games
 

As of this writing, the United States is on top of the medal tally, with 2 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze, for a total of 8 medals.

Host-country Canada, currently with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, shares the second spot with France and Germany, which also have 4 medals apiece. France has 2 gold and 2 bronze medals, and Germany has 1 gold and 3 bronze.

Switzerland, Norway and Italy have snatched 3 medals each so far. The Swiss have won 3 golds already, but the Norwegians (2 silver, 1 bronze) and the Italians (1 silver, 2 bronze) have yet to win theirs.

Korea and Czech Republic are tied at fourth place with 2 medals each, while the rest of the participating countries have won either 1 medal each or none yet.
