After helping the Memphis Grizzlies win Game 1 of their quarterfinal playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs, Zach Randolph has reportedly agreed to a 4-year contract extension with the club.
According to league sources, the 10-year veteran will get a deal worth $71 million.
ESPN reported, “Of the $71 million, $66 million is fully guaranteed and the fourth and final year of the deal is a player option. Randolph has incentives based on individual and team achievements of $1.3 million each season.”
Randolph, 29, scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in last Sunday’s game to beat the Western Conference’s top-seeded Spurs.
